We are making significant upgrades to our website. Keep checking back on the site. Very soon we will be adding instructive videos, e-books, specific opening videos and files, and also comprehensive PGN files you may upload to your database for a reasonable fee through PayPal.

1. Analysis of your games is the best way to improve your game. As an undefeated North American Correspondence Champion, experienced coach of several National & State Champions,  and editor/columnist for many international chess magazines, I will meticulously analyze your games as no other. The fee is $50 for two games. Package discounts are available on more games.

2. Chess Clubs are essential to improvement from meeting various players and classroom instruction. We meet Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30 PM at Busch Commercial Plaza, Ginger Fitness & Rehabilitation, 5035 E. Busch Blvd. Suite 5, Tampa, Florida 33617.  We have a lively group of beginners to experienced players of all ages. Membership fees are $50 per month and package discounts are available.

3. Chess Tournaments are the ultimate goal of playing chess. As an Official Affiliate of the United States Chess Federation, we sponsor tournaments on a regular basis and post local tournaments on our website. Chess Life lists all rated US tournaments every month and you may find them at www.USChess.org. Being part of a chess team is a lot of fun and road trips are a blast! You may find yourself on a junior team traveling across the US. If you excel at the game, junior teams travel to exotic places such as Brazil, England, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Spain, and many other places!

4. Private Lessons are the BEST way to improve, which includes analysis of all your notated games.your notated games. My schedule is rather full although I am willing to accept special students online via telephone, in the client's home or a neutral location such as a library. The fee is $55 for 1 ½ hours (although I'm not a clock-watcher), with reasonable custom package discounts for multiple training sessions. Please let us know if you would like to try one and see if you feel any of these options will work for you. – Coach Mike
